TransJakarta is a bus rapid transit system in Jakarta, Indonesia. TransJakarta started on January 15, 2004 and currently has ten corridors (or lines) in operation. Another five corridors are currently being planned. TransJakarta was designed to provide the citizens of Jakarta a fast and cheap public transportation system to help reduce rush hour traffic.
Corridor 8, which has been opened in early 2009, runs from Lebak Bulus bus terminal to Harmoni Sentral. At four different stations you can transfer to corridor three; Indosiar, Jelambar, Grogol 2 and Harmoni Sentral. Meanwhile it is also possible to transit to corridors 1 and 2 at Harmoni Sentral. Buses do not stop at Pondok Pinang when traveling to Lebak Bulus.
