November 7, 2010 - A lonely yellow sign stands on the road side in a ash-gray environment in Muntilan. Heavy ash rains have hit the Central Java town of Muntilan hard. Two days ago, several centimeters of ash from the Mount Merapi volcano came down in a large area, causing power outages, breaking trees and grinding life to a complete halt in the area.
