November 7, 2010 - Onlookers look at a fast flowing river that carries volcanic material like sand, stones and other debris. Heavy ash rains have hit the Central Java town of Muntilan hard. Two days ago, several centimeters of ash from the Mount Merapi volcano came down in a large area, causing power outages, breaking trees and grinding life to a complete halt in the area.
