November 7, 2010 - A river in Muntilan has changed into a wild water rapid after rainfall in the area. Heavy ash rains have hit the Central Java town of Muntilan hard. Two days ago, several centimeters of ash from the Mount Merapi volcano came down in a large area, causing power outages, breaking trees and grinding life to a complete halt in the area.
