A tunnel, built by the Japanese by forced labour between 1941 and 1945, is now partially overgrown by large trees. Cagar Alam Pangandaran is a small nature reserve near the coastal resort town of Pangandaran, which is located along the southern shore of West Java province in Indonesia. The reserve is open to the public and offers a hiking trail, natural caves, man-made tunnels and a white beach.
