January 2009 - After less than half an hour of slow driving and stopping, the train reaches Tanah Abang station. This is the place where many passengers scramble to find the continuation of their trip in the chaos of Jakarta nowadays. In the direction of Tanah Abang station it is clearly visible that this is one of the poorer areas of Jakarta. Urbanization here has lead to an almost impenetrable maze of residential areas.
