January 2009 - The view from the slow moving train is not always that beautiful. Along big parts of the route are slum-like houses where many Jakartans live in poor conditions. The route from Pondok Ranji station to Tanah Abang station runs mainly through the concrete jungle of the suburbs of the Indonesian capital Jakarta.
