June 2008 - An old sign with the text 'bagage' (luggage) can still be found on a wall in the central waiting area allthough it has almost been overpainted many times. The train station at the end of the line that connects Purworejo and a dozen small towns with the city of Yogyakarta still contains the atmosphere of decades ago. A place where time has stood still ever since the railroad tracks were laid and the station was built.
