These cans hold the beans that have been ripened in bags in the warehouse for five to eight years, depending on the kind of bean. After all those years they have earned the right to be roasted and they are able to see some daylight. In Koffiefabriek Aroma (Coffee Factory Aroma) the beans are only removed from the bags just before they are processed. In this way the taste and odour is kept original as much as possible, even after roasting them.
