19 May 2007 - On the beach of Parangtritis, the province of Yogyakarta, Central Java, the first rows of bamboo and straw structures are flattened. First an earthquake struck the area, then a tsunami and now high waves finish the story by even taking the debris back in the sea. Even residents now say that it is time to move away from the lowest places of the beach.
