Half the house sits on a few pieces of concrete that can bare enough weight hopefully. Lower, on the riverbed itself, a hut is constructed. When a downpour occurs - more a matter of 'when' then 'if' - it can just happen to wash away, with pieces of it scattered throughout the valley.
