August 2006The kampung Sukun has, just as many others throughout Indonesia, done it's best for the recent celebration of Independence Day, 17 August. Streets, houses, shops and almost everything else has been decorated, repainted or brightened up in any other way. Within a few weeks everything will be gone again.
