August 2009 - The Mount Semeru and Mount Bromo volcanoes in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park in East Java Province. Mount Semeru, the one that is exhausting a plume of dark smoke on the picture, is an active volcano that erupts almost every year. It normally exhausts clouds of ash and smoke into the sky.
