· 28-04-2009: Mount Slamet volcano continues to erupt

26 April 2009 - The volcanic activity of the Mount Slamet volcano keeps on increasing. Where there were first some hundred tremors a day which lasted between 20 and 95 seconds, now the volcano also emits molten rock up to heights of 900 meters from the peak of the volcano. The volcano has now released lava some 80 times. The eruptions that occurred today were much bigger than those recorded yesterday.
· 26-04-2009: Activity of Mount Slamet still increases

24 April 2009 - Mount Slamet in West Java province has started to exhaust hot molten rock with flames. The volcano started to show this activity just after sunset yesterday evening. The rocks reached an height of up to 600 meters. The head of the observation post for Mount Slamet, Sukedi, sold that the volcano first ejected blackish clouds before the hot molten rock was exhausted.
· 24-04-2009: Mount Slamet volcano erupts with hot molten rock

22 April 2009 - The alert-status of the Mount Slamet volcano has been raised from 'normal' to 'aware' because of a drastic increase of the water temperature inside the crater. The change came into effect yesterday afternoon. Based on information from the observation post for the volcano in the village of Gambuhan, the volcano produces 203 tremors yesterday. Normally this is somewhere between 40 and 90.
