The Garut Regency lies sixty-three kilometers to the southeast of Bandung, 717 meters above sea level. The area of Garut, 3,105,99 square kilometers large in size, lies between the Sumedang Regency in the north, the regency of Bandung and Cianjur in the west, the Indonesian Sea in the South the Tasikmalaya Regency in the east. Garut has a specific cultural attraction, the "Ram Fight".
